Rebecca Moritzky, Heart Strings Harps, has played the harp for eighteen years. She has performed across the Denver Metro area, entire Front Range, Europe, China, and Vancouver, Canada. She obtained her Harp Performance degree from the Lamont School of Music, University of Denver. She is currently completed a second degree in Worship Arts at Colorado Christian University. She is the principal harpist of the Denver Philharmonic Orchestra and the Lakewood Symphony Orchestra.

Her harp performance has taken her from everywhere in and around Denver and the Front Range of Colorado, to New York, Utah, and most recently she played at the World Harp Congress in Vancouver, British Columbia. She toured with the Denver Young Artists Orchestra in 2011 and 2014 to Germany, the Prague, France, Italy, and Spain. With the Denver Philharmonic Orchestra, she toured and performed in 14 cities in China in 2016.

Rebecca has played for over 300 weddings and events. She plays for art galleries, tea rooms, special events, churches, receptions, memorials, and retirement communities. Her program for any event is tailor-made to the desires of the bride, the audience and she is comfortable in any setting.

Rebecca competed and won the Lakewood Sister City Concerto Competition in April 2013. She performed with the Lakewood Symphony Orchestra and traveled to Chester, England where she performed in four different venues as part of the People to People Association of Chester. She recorded on Colorado Public Radio in conjunction with this competition. In 2016, she performed as part Josh Groban’s orchestra. She is a member of a progressive rock band and plays and dances for a North Indian khatak dance ensemble.
